WordPress Developer

We are a startup in the short-term rental industry, looking for a skilled WordPress developer to help us build and maintain our booking website. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing custom themes, plugins, and integrations that meet our business needs. You will also work closely with our design and product teams to ensure the website is user-friendly and visually appealing.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet business requirements
• Optimize website performance, ensuring fast page load times and an overall smooth user experience
• Collaborate with the design and product teams to implement new features and design changes
• Maintain the website’s codebase, keeping it up-to-date and secure
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise with the website or its integrations
• Integrations via API

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in WordPress development
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with RESTful API integrations
• Experience with responsive design and development
• Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
